Something special started in 1990 with the opening of Magnolias.   The Boathouse - One great restaurant, two great Lowcountry locations -- East Bay Street and Breach Inlet. The Boathouse Restaurants boast well-prepared meal served in a pleasing, casual environment with friendly and exceptional service. The Boathouse at Breach Inlet offers incredible ocean-side views on the Isle of Palms. The Boathouse on East Bay offers fine dining near Downtown Charleston. Casually elegant atmosphere, outstanding service, and fantastic raw bar and sushi bar.
  Zeus - Good Mt Pleasant Seafood and Greek fare
  Any of Sal Parco's Restaurants - Sal Parco has several of the best local restaurants in the area, with various themes, reasonable prices, and fine food. They are three separate Mustard Seed locations, the Boulevard Diner, Sette VII, Longpoint Grill, Village Bakery, and Uno Mas. Most of these are in Mount Pleasant. Google any of his restaurants by name "+ Charleston" and read great reviews.
